Anand Gandhi is a filmmaker and a science communicator. Anand Gandhi’s first feature film ‘Ship of Theseus’ premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012 and has since been recognized as “one of the most significant films to come out of India in decades” by critics and audiences, alike. Anand has been actively engaged in pioneering cinematic non-fiction in India. In 2015, Anand founded the Memesys Culture Lab. It is a cinema and new media studio at the intersection of science, philosophy and culture. The studio participates in cinema, literature, pedagogy, technology, innovation, art, and science communication.
Khushboo Ranka is a Berlinale 2015 Campus fellow and she has been featured as one of the 10 Asian women filmmakers to look out for by FeminismInIndia.com. Before moving to filmmaking, Khushboo has had experience in the fields of journalism, graphic design and writing for a number of years. “Continuum,” a short film she wrote and directed at the age of 20, won the best short film at the Hannover Film Festival. She next co-wrote the internationally acclaimed fiction feature film “Ship of Theseus.” Khushboo is also the co-founder and Creative Director of the new media studio – Memesys Culture Lab. The company has been a pioneer in producing and crafting high-concept, experientially rich work in cinema and new media.

Dr Avinash De Sousa is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry at Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Sion General Hospital in Mumbai. He is International Faculty for UNESCO Chair in Bioethics working in over 8 countries for the same. He has over 475 publications in national and international journals and is the author of 6 books in the area of mental health. Works with mainstream and special schools in Mumbai as a Visiting School Psychiatrist, and School Mental Health Expert.
Manoj Chandran is the CEO of White Swan Foundation for Mental Health, a non-profit organization incorporated with the mission to deliver knowledge services on mental health and wellbeing. White Swan Foundation also runs several community outreach and mass communication programs to educate people on the subject. She has served as Consultant to National and State level bodies like RCI, IGNOU etc. She is recipient of multiple awards at national level.

Dr. Chetna Duggal is an Assistant Professor in the School of Human Ecology, TISS -Mumbai. She is a practising psychotherapist and works with children, adolescents, couples and families. She is a cross –sector trainer and trains in the area of psychotherapy and counselling skills. She is the trustee of Apnishala, an organisation working towards making life skills education accessible to children from underprivileged contexts. She has a keen interest in psychological wellbeing, promotion and intervention for children and adolescents and has conducted research and authored book chapters and papers on the same.
Dr. M. Manjula is currently working as Additional Professor, Department of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and PhD in 2003 from NIMHANS. She has been working as a faculty since 2007. Her areas of research include Cognitive Behaviour Therapies, Mental health issues and interventions in Youth. She runs a special clinic for youth called ‘Window to wellbeing’. She has been carrying out research on interventions for depression and suicidality in youth.

Jhilmil Breckenridge is a poet, writer and activist. She is the founder and managing trustee of Bhor Foundation, a mental health charity in India working on inclusion, stigma and using poetry as therapy. Her areas of work are mental health, domestic violence and trauma. Strongly against forced psychiatry, she speaks out often about the rights of persons with psychosocial disability and compliance with the UN CRPD. Jhilmil is currently working on a PhD in the UK.
